Hi, I'm CHENG SHIJING, a visual artist working across digital illustration, photography, hand-drawn media, logo design, and typography. My practice is rooted in formalist aesthetics, where structure, visual tension, and spatial rhythm take precedence over narrative. I’m drawn to the quiet friction between constructed order and emotive abstraction, often exploring the power of form when stripped of explicit meaning.

Much of my work revolves around the aesthetics of construction and deconstruction—minimalist yet expressive compositions that challenge conventional beauty and embrace the unresolved. I am particularly fascinated by the emotive potential of form alone, and how pure visual language can evoke inner movement without relying on explicit storytelling.

In branding and type design, I apply a similar sensibility: crafting visual identities that communicate clarity through reduction, where even a curve or negative space becomes a decisive gesture. My approach bridges fine art and design, embracing the edges between emotion and intention, precision and ambiguity.

I’m constantly evolving—experimenting with new mediums, deconstructing my own methods, and embracing discomfort as a catalyst for new expression.

我是成诗菁。这里的创作涉及我的日常绘画、摄影及品牌设计、字体设计。我经常被纯粹的形式主义表达所吸引，艺术实践更多关注结构、空间张力与节奏感，而非具象内容的表达。内容之外，形式是万物沉淀的最终形态，抽离叙事，它本已拥有足以唤起情感的力量。

大部分作品执着于挖掘“构成”与“解构”间的关系，在精简而具有冲突感的视觉语言中寻找表达的可能。它们不着墨于故事性的叙述，仅希冀通过纯粹的视觉构造触及内心某种模糊而真实的感受。

同样，在设计的实践中也保持了这种逻辑的一致性。在极简中传递情绪、使线条与留白都具备指向性的张力，并在艺术与设计的交界制造一种持续流动的关联，它介于精确与模糊、情绪与秩序之间。

艺术不是一个确定的终点，而是一种不断推翻与重构、不断发现和选择的过程，其生命力在于尝试、创造、迭代、推翻和重建的过程，不同媒介不同技术，不同探索不同表达，于确定和不确定中寻找可能。希望有所共鸣。
